Office Lunch Break Meals

This is just going to be a list of easy to make office meal ideas because I know how difficult it can be to find something to take in some days. I don't know about anyone else but I often end up staying in the office over lunch break, that means that I need to have a mini emergency food supply in my bag, these are the kinds of things that I like to take in:

  • Mug Shots or Bachelors Cup A Noodle, these are easy to make and nearly every office has a kettle so you don't have to trail your way down to the kitchen or elsewhere in the building.
  • A Pot Noodle, whilst similar to the first option I listed, is much more convenient. It's already in a pot so you don't have to wash up and there are plenty of flavours available.
  • Left-overs, I tend to bring in a Tupperware box full of whatever meal I had the night before. There is a kitchen in the place I work so I just have to pop over and use the microwave for a few minutes.
  • Sandwiches are a classic lunch-box occupant and whilst they are common, you can switch up the filling and have a different one everyday. I prefer to use cling-film instead of tin foil because I feel like it preserves the freshness of the bread better but that's my opinion.
  • Personally I prefer to have wraps rather than bread because they are healthier and take up less space. You can have just as many fillings in a wrap as you can in a sandwich, the end result is less messy and they can be heated or cold, whichever you prefer.

  1. Thanks for sharing personal things about you. It's fun to read. Thanks for stopping by my blog and commenting.

  2. Great tips :) I love wraps for when I want a change from sandwiches :) x

    1. They are yummy. :)

At home I like to grill them once they are filled.
