New Years Day

It's been a slow day and since I'm ill I haven't spent my time recovering from a horrendous New Years hangover. The amount of 'Hangover Cure' posts I've seen is unbelievable and whilst I haven't been bothered by one today, I've really enjoyed reading about everyone elses tips, tricks and experiences. I swear next year I'll do something interesting for NYE, call it an extension on my New Years Resolutions that I posted about on the last day of Blogmas.

Anyway, since I've been ill today I've basically just been drinking way too much tea (if there is such a thing as too much tea!), painting my nails and working on my social media accounts. I discovered Anarbor whilst I was on Youtube and I'm now obsessed with their song called 18, it's well worth checking out, I love it! I'm probably going to check out more of their music once the novelty of finding a new favourite song has worn off. Whilst I've been ill I've also gotten round to writing a guest post for EllaWasHere's Januhairy project, if it's approved it should be out sometime this month, it's about my favourite products of 2014. I kind of wish I'd kept the post for my blog because I'm rather pleased about how it turned out, all I'm saying is look out for it either way if you get a chance, you might even find some new favourites yourselves.

I'm full of hope that 2015 is going to be the year that I'm going to settle into a job, go out more and develop my blog. As far as blogging is concerned, I'm going to try and keep up with Mani Monday, Fashion Friday and post as many varied posts in between just to keep my content mixed. I love that my blog is so varied in content, it keeps me interested in what I'm writing so I hope it's the same for anyone reading this.

I mentioned my nails in passing in the second paragraph so I'm just going to say that I used another High Brow varnish that I got for Christmas, I added the other one I used in my December Favourites post. I love this shade, it's similar to my Rimmel London Black Cherry varnish that I've been wearing for years. Also, the image to the right isn't fantastic but I'm going to start saving for a camera so I can improve the overall quality of my posts. Photography was never my strong suit in college but I'd love to develop my skills during 2015.

Any recommendation for an easy to use and good quality camera?

  1. Wishing you all the best for 2015 :) I hope you achieve your job goals and can't wait to see where your blog goes in the new year - lots of love xx
