THIS or THAT: The Fashion Tag

Since I mentioned in a fairly recent post that I was going to be doing a fashion based piece every Friday in 2015, I've decided to do a fashion edition of the THIS or THAT Tag. A friend mentioned the beauty version of the tag to me when I had a bit of writers blog and whilst I will be doing that over the next few days, I thought it would be interesting to do a fashion based one to kick start my Fashion Friday project. I couldn't find a set list of THIS or THAT questions for this post because when I searched for one, mainly beauty tags were brought up because it was originally done for beauty. Anyway, in true Aymie Louise style, this post won't just be one word answers for the THIS or THAT tag so expect a little bit of rambling.

Jeans or tracksuit bottoms (sweats for those of you in the US!)?
Jeans.
I only wear one pair of tracksuit bottoms, not intentionally but I lounge around in pyjamas or leggings if I'm ill or I'm having a lazy day. The only reason I bought the pair I actually do own is that I wanted to get fit as one of my New Years resolutions in 2014 but that didn't go according to plan. Straying away from the topic of fitness and exercise because I'll feel guilty, Jeans are like my staple piece, I'm always wearing them.

High heels or flats?
High heels.
This is yet another thing I've done unintentionally, I only own one pair of flats at the moment but that should change soon enough. I bought a pair of heels a few years ago and loved them so I just kept buying more when those ran out.

Strips or plaid/tartan?
Plaid/tartan.
I did a post about tartan not so long ago (It's here if you're interested). It's possibly my all time favourite trend and whilst I have nothing against stripes, there really wasn't any competition between the two.

Scarves or hats?
Scarves.
I find that wearing a hat can be uncomfortable and since I have quite thick hair I don't really need to use one, my head gets too warm in the winter with a hat and I don't get sunburn on my scalp in the summer anyway. I have quite a collection of both winter and summer scarves, I got a fantastic tartan scarf for Christmas that I actually mentioned in my December Favourites post.

Handbag or backpack?
Backpack.
I'm currently using a rather small handbag because my backpack needs cleaning but I definitely have a preference, you can fit so much more in a backpack and they are so much more comfortable to carry around than a handback.
