The Love/Hate Tag

Hello everyone! As I mentioned a little while back, my blog is going to be fairly slow on the uptake until after my holiday so hopefully I'll have plenty of lifestyle content ready for when I get back. Anyway, onto the purpose of this post... I was tagged by the gorgeous Bianca from Ditzy Sprinkles to do the Love/Hate Tag sometime last week but I didn't get a chance to type it up. Thanks by the way, I really enjoyed your post! I love doing tag posts so I'm more than happy to accept this little challenge. I'm just going to get straight into it so I hope this is enjoyable for you guys!

The rules, as copied from Bianca's post:

Simply list 20 things about yourself- 10 things you love and 10 things you hate/pet peeves. Then nominate 10 bloggers to take part.

10 things I love:
  • I utterly adore Marvel, as you can probably tell from my last post, I'm a big fan of both the comic books and the films so you can expect quite a few mentions of it on my blog!
  • I love to travel, I like discovering new things and exploring new places. I used to be quite a home bird but now I'm constantly thinking about my next trip and how I'm going to afford my travels.
  • I love... BLOGGING. As if you couldn't already tell, I try my hardest to write as much content as I can but I have to be happy with and proud of it before it goes out onto my blog, I'm starting to be quite the perfectionist.
  • Getting a haircut is something I love because after years of bleaching and dying I like to take care of my hair, even if it does look like a rats nest sometimes. I recently got it cut quite short and the weight off it felt amazing, my hair is quite thick and coarse so more drastic changes feel so odd.
  • I love going on long walks, it's my way of doing exercise without it feeling like a chore because I stick my headphones in and just walk for ages. It's a great way of clearing my head and getting some fresh air so I use any excuse to do it, I visit my gran a lot because she lives in the next town over.
  • I love Autumn for a number of reasons; Halloween, cosy jumpers, an excuse to drink tea, my birthday... the list goes on.
  • Going to concerts is one of my favourite things to do, the last one I went to was S Club 7 with my friend Leanne which was a total blast from the past. I hope to go to see more at some point, I just need to think of one I really want to go to.
  • Speaking of Leanne, I love painting nails, she used to get me to do her nails whenever she had a party or something to go to. We used to go to her house at lunch break when we were in school and just sort out her nails as we ate lunch.
  • As cheesy as it sounds, I love my family. We have our ups and downs, none of us are perfect and we bicker but at the end of the day I couldn't imagine life without them.
  • I love chatting to other bloggers because quite often they have a similar mindset to me and it's easy to relate to them. Everyone has a different view on things and I like to compare my own to that of theirs.
10 things I hate:
  • Hate's a fairly strong word but I hate Iggy Azalea's music, not her, just the sound that she makes.
  • Noisy/messy eating is something I really get irritated by, I have to leave the room, I know that probably sounds a little pretentious but it just really grates on me.
  • I have it when people I think I know turn around and betray me, especially after being two faced about another person (one which they run off to). It just stings a little, then again, if they are willing to turn around and stab me in the back at the drop of a hat I guess they weren't real friends at all in the first place.
  • If it has wings, I don't like it, whether it's a chicken, a wasp or a moth I just don't like them at all. If it has wings you can't exactly escape from it because it can... get you.
  • I hate sweet and sour sauce, I've just never been able to eat it. I've always been picky but it's just one thing that really sticks out in my mind.
  • I hate the kids that used to bully my sister for being smaller than everyone else, more broadly, I just can't stand bullies. No matter who they are or where they're from.
  • I hate the fact that I'm so pale, unless I've been on holiday twice in the year I just look grey and unhealthy by the time it gets to Christmas.
  • One thing that I really don't like is when I'm giving someone my work/writing to read through and they just stare at it in silence with a straight face as they read it, it makes me feel insecure about what I've written.
  • I utterly detest walking through slushy snow in the winter without wellies on, even in leather boots it's just plain awful, slippy and messy.
  • I hate the fact that I'm not musically or rhythmically talented, I always wanted to play an instrument but I just don't have the time, the patience or the co-ordination to do so. I've attempted a keyboard, an acoustic guitar and a recorder and failed at all three.
The bloggers I nominate are:

  3. Lovely tag! Would you mind me doing it also?

    1. Go ahead, Sarah. Drop me a link when you're done and I'll make sure I read it. :) xo

  4. Autumn is definitely the best season! Really enjoyed reading this tag xx

  5. I wish more of my friends were fans of the Marvel movies. Nobody wants to go see Ant-Man with me, so guess I have to go alone :((. I'll survive tho haha. Thanks for nominating me!

xx I-Z-Z-Y (that was my Iggy impression hahaha sorry)

    1. It's worth watching though, I struggle to get people to see Marvel films with me too. 'Apparently' they are for boys - screw the stereotypes!
