Blogmas Day 19: Catching Up With Friends And Travel Plans

Hello everyone! First off before I start today's Blogmas I just want to apologise about how late this one is, I had other content planned out but it just didn't go ahead. I was supposed to have a review for Freshlook Colourblend contact lenses but unfortunately I couldn't get them in my eyes so that one's going to have to be pushed back.

Today's content will be about my pre-Christmas catchup with Autumn and Becky, two of my good friends that I met whilst on a journalism course. Since I left college we haven't had a massive amount of time to spend together but we do always have a laugh when we find time. This time we decided to have a baking day but it was full of mishaps and the baking wasn't 100%. We did, however, have a laugh and chat about a lot of things.

We are, or rather Autumn is currently planning a trip to Dublin for 2017. It's a little far away but because we're all doing such different things and we have different money situations but it will be done and we already have some hotel choices and ideas about activities. I'm also planning a solo trip for sometime next year so do me a favour and give me a few suggestions for decently priced getaways!

This is a bit of a short one but if I'm being honest, I spent way too much time trying to put those contact lenses in. It's actually embarrassing how much time it took out of my day, I've stopped and then revisited it over and over again. I'll try again tomorrow but it's so difficult, how do people even wear contact lenses daily? Oh well, thanks for taking a few moments to read today's Blogmas post. Next one will obviously be up tomorrow!

  2. I also had those contacts, tried literally for a day on and off trying to get them in - couldn't. The second day I managed to get one in and oh boy! my eyes were streaming with tears and in so much pain. It's maybe wise you gave up hun, so not worth the pain.

    hugs & Happy Christmas,
    Elyse x
