Blogmas Day 3: Last Months Favourites

Hello everyone! For today's Blogmas post I'm just going to go through some of the things I've been loving recently. It's not particularly festive but a few of my favourites can be related to Winter and the final twelfth of the year. I love doing favourites posts, it kind of ties off any loose ends and helps me review the way things have gone and what I've enjoyed.

It was my twentieth birthday on the 11th of November and that kind of made me feel oddly reflective. My first favourite isn't exactly a favourite, it's just something I'm very appreciative of... My friends. I spent quite a lot of time last month just meeting up with friends and catching up so I'm really pleased I had the chance to do that. I've also had a lot of free time to bond with my little sister who, admittedly, doesn't actually see me that much because of school, work and other things we both do.

This next favourite is something I've loved for a long time, Nando's peri-peri chicken. I love it, I always get the butterfly chicken with peri-peri salted chips and sweetcorn. I've gone to Nando's for my birthday for the past two years and, to be honest, I'll probably go next year too.

The Starbucks Toffee Nut Lattes and the Eggnog Lattes are drinks that I've really really enjoyed recently. The Toffee Nut Latte is sweet but not to the point that it gets sickly at the end of the drink, the Eggnog Latte is just a yummy festive drink that I didn't expect to like as much.

Since I'm still talking about food and drink, I bought a drinking jar and matching lunchbox from ASOS last month and I love it, it's adorable and it suits both hot and cold drinks. It could make a fantastic gift or just an adorable treat to yourself, I like it because it's a decent size for soluble supplements and... Well, it's pretty.
The next item is one that I was sent free of charge as a blogging opportunity from Online Avenue. I reviewed them in this post here if you'd like more details or if you want to see some more pictures. They are a favourite because they're the most beautiful shoes I've ever owned, I can't even begin to tell you guys how much I love the way these look.

On the opposite end of the shoe spectrum, I've been wearing my black converse a lot recently as they're an easy colour to style and they're incredibly comfortable.

Whilst I'm still on the topic of fashion, is anyone else still adoring camel and brown tones? I never used to like them but this year I've been really into that sort of colour scheme. The bag in the image to the left is my current daily backpack and it's super comfy to wear everywhere. It's not a style I've seen a lot of in the UK but when I bought it in Hong Kong earlier in the year it seemed like a popular pattern. Unfortunately I haven't seen any similar patterns in UK stores yet but it might be on it's way.

I plan on doing a 'What's In My Bag' post which will include some winter essentials at some point during the Blogmas project. That should be an interesting one because I've got all sorts of bizarre stupid things in there, like, you wouldn't believe how much rubbish I keep in my bag.

Last but not least, this month I've been trying out a few new foundations and a different concealer. I mention them further in this post here but I do talk about my skin type and few skin issues I put up with first so it might be worth taking a look if you want a few tips for skin during the colder months. Out of the two foundations in the image, I would have to say that the Bourjois is my favourite. Though, that's not to say that I don't love the one by L'OREAL too.

Thanks for reading today's Blogmas post, if you've been doing the project too I'd love it if you could drop a link or two in the comments. I'd also love to see what you think of my selection this month so let me know what you're loving this month.
