Blogmas Day 4: The Christmas Tag

Hello everyone! I hope you are all warmer than me because I'm freezing, December is definitely upon us now! Anyway, it's the 4th day of Blogmas 2015 and today I'm collaborating with Simona from Crispy Ventures blog. We decided to do 'The Christmas Tag', something I did just before Blogmas last year to compare our answers. The link to last years version of this post is here. I hope you guys enjoy this post, the answers will be different to last years and most likely quite different to what Simona says about her Christmas festivities.

These are the standard questions from 'The Christmas Tag', let me know if you do it too, I nominate all of my blogger buddies so let me know in the comments if you fancy doing the tag.

What is your favourite Christmas Movie/s?
Love Actually is always going to be a favourite of mine but this year I'm quite into watching The Miracle On 34th Street.

Do you open your presents on Christmas Eve or Christmas morning?
The answer to this one is always going to be the same, it has to be Christmas morning! It would just feel wrong opening presents any time before that.

Do you like to stay in your PJ’s, or dress up for Christmas?
I don't stay in my PJ's on Christmas day but I don't exactly dress up either, I tend to wear something casual like comfy jeans and a Christmas jumper. Festive and warm!

White lights or colored lights?
Not to be boring or anything but I like white lights, they're fairly neutral so they can go with any colour scheme and they're really subtle when they're turned off so they don't look awful when the lights are turned off.

As a kid, what was the one extravagant gift you asked for but never got?
Nothing is really coming to mind, I just sort of hinted towards things I liked rather than asking. My mum and dad always tried their best to get the presents that I wanted.

What tops your tree?
Just a simple silver star, though, in the past we've used a massive bow, an angel or something someone has made at school. I prefer to keep the tree fairly organised so I like to have the topper coordinated with the rest of the tree.

What are your favourite Christmas colours?
I used to like red and silver but this year I'm really liking either a bright blue or a purple. Not that either of those will go on the tree, I still live with my parents and my taste is a little brighter and more colourful than theirs.

Favourite Christmas scent?
This year my favourite Christmas scent has to either be gingerbread or vanilla, I stilled like mulled berry sort of scents but I think I've picked up on these new favourites whilst Christmas shopping.

What is your favourite holiday drink?
Anything with cinnamon in it is fine with me, I love chai lattés all year round so it's probably a cop out answer so... Uh... Hot chocolate? I guess so, anyway. I don't really change what I drink depending on the seasons.

What's your favourite Christmas food?
This question is too tough, Christmas is such a great time for food. I look forward to my Christmas lunch all year, I think I probably get more excited about the food than I do for prensents or anything else.

What’s the best part about Christmas for you?
I think I kind of answered this question in the previous answer, I just adore Christmas food but really the whole experience and the atmosphere of it all is just... Basically there isn't anything to not like.

Well, thanks for reading my Blogmas day 4 post. Remember to keep an eye on Crispy Ventures for Simona's twin post.

  1. awesome post love reading it

  2. Love doing tags! I should have mine up next week!!

  3. What a cute tag! Do you mind if I do this one too? You know, I do only drink chai lattes in winter. That's the only thing I've been ordering lately. I wouldn't be surprised if the barista hands me a chai latte the moment I set my foot inside the cafe.

    xx Izzy

    1. Go for it! I'd love to see your answers!

PS. Chai Lattes are the absolute best. 👌💓
