Blogmas Day 5: Festive Lush HAUL

Hey guys! This one is going out a little later on in the day than I would have liked but I've been ill and I've been out. I've been ill all week actually which is why I decided that I needed to treat myself with some festive Lush goodies. Before this I'd never tried any of their festive range so it's been interesting to test out a few and chill. I've found them to be quite the pick-me-up! There's nothing better than a hot bath and a bath bomb for clearing up the winter blues and an awful flu.

I picked up the Butterbear bath bomb, the Magic Of Christmas Wand (bubble bar), the Yog Nog bath bomb, the Luxury Lush Pud bath bomb and the Cinders bath bomb.and the Holly Golightly bubble bar. I mainly focused on bath bombs this time around but I'm sure I'll check out a few more products after Christmas.

Sure, the bubble bars I picked have covered everything I own in glitter but, hey, they're pretty and they both smell gorgeous. I almost didn't pick those two products up for that reason, glitter is a notoriously difficult opponent. I'm glad I did end up buying them though so I'll put up with the mass of glitter covering everything.

I feel like they went all out with the look of the Magic Of Christmas Wand, it's super festive. It's all down to the details, this time of the year things like this are perfect as gifts. The bell, the glitter, the cinnamon stick... It's all so Christmassy and fun. I don't think a lot of people are all that bothered about how the products look as they're just going into the bath but I really do appreciate the attention to detail.

The Luxury Lush Pud was another unexpected delight, once in the bath it turned the water pink and broke off into a few brightly coloured pieces. It was like having several smaller fizzers in there once things started to change and react which was pretty much straight away. The effects didn't last long but that didn't matter because it made the bath look and smell really pleasant.

It had a really fresh scent to it which I found really quite relaxing and whilst it went super bright and darker than the images, it didn't stain my skin, the bath or any clothing. It never touched my hair so I don't know if it would have soaked up the pink but I wouldn't risk it because dyed hair can be super porous!

I've loved these festive items, I'd love to hear about your favourites in the comments if you'd like to share! I appreciate the support so far during this years Blogmas project, I've managed so far but it's tough getting one post out a day!

    1. You could always get the Magic Of Christmas wand, it's a reusable bubble bar so you can justify it as an investment piece. 😉
